Sc 186/init cleanup

Ghost User requested to merge SC-186/init_cleanup into master

Cleaned up the constructors. I did not find functionality that had to be moved out of a constructor, but I did find unnecessary attributes. I also did and old TODO in the eq of Words and I updated some docstring where the wrong types were indicated.
